Icon2 Tires?

So I have a 99 Civic hatch, B16a swapped with a LSD trasmission. Im not sure the gearing in the transmission (quick) but I know it came from Japan as with the engine. I will be posting pics soon, as I just signed up for honda-tech.

Back to the thread topic...

I had some Yokohama S-drives 205/45r16 and got maybe 25,000km out of them with rotation every 10,000. Real grippy tires but I drove them pretty hard, so I probably could have gotten more if I drove like a normal person on the back roads.

Im looking at Yokohama Parada spec-2 or the Dunlop Direzza DZ101 or anything similar in that price range. $100-175cnd per tire. Hoping to find something that I could get 50,000-60,000km out of a set, any suggestion?

For the American population, he's looking for 30-40k miles.

OP, I'm assuming you want a summer tire, and aren't worried about rain and snow performance.

Toyo Proxes 1R1 or BFGoodrich g-Force T/A KDW 2 are what I would personally go with, although the Proxes probably won't give you as many miles as you want unless you take damn good care of them. You could also go with the S. Drives in 215/40R16 and get a little more rubber on the road for better grip, if you liked them. Rubbing shouldn't be a problem - I ran 215/35R17 until I realized 17" wheels suck.
