Default Car wont start after changing heater hose?

I don't usually ask questions here because 99% of the time I can find them by searching but this is an odd one. Yesterday after I got to work I smelled coolant getting out of my car, so I looked underneath and saw a waterfall. Opened the hood and saw the heater hose going from underneath the distributor to the firewall had a small hole near the clamp (on the firewall side) The car never overheated or anything like that.

Anyway I changed the heater hose after work, filled the car up with coolant and tried to start it but it wouldn't turn over. I checked all the grounds and rechecked all the grounds thinking maybe I knocked something loose but I couldn't find anything out of place. One of the spark plug wires was off the distributor but I put it back on and it still wouldn't start. Could it be that by some weird **** circumstance my distributor went out at the same time this happened? I checked for spark and it wasn't getting any. The car is a 1995 civic with d15b7 d16y8 mini-me. The distributor is from the b7. Any help is appreciated because I'm stumped.

The coil in the distributor probably blew when you cranked the engine with a plug wire disconnected.

That's what I was afraid of. I got a new one to try and replace it but couldn't get the rotor to come off the distributor for some reason.

If you removed the rotor screw, buy a new rotor and then muscle off the old one.

I had to break my rotor off once. It was the first time I did a tune up.

Did you get this fixed?? You said it wouldn't "turn over". Sounds like you just knocked the start wire off the starter as its right below the heater hoses.

I think he meant no start not no crank because he said he checked for spark and the only way to do that is to have the car crank.
