Default rpm/speed activated solenoids

i have some DIY projects in mind for sometime and wanted to know if anyone has experience with those things.

im not gonna go into details about what exactly im doing so people dont get distracted and start giving advice where none is requested (like it always happends when too many details are given)

i just want to know what is available and prefered/most efficient or most popular.

right now i dont even know if im using proper terminology to name them.

maybe post some keywords for me to search for?

im looking for a solenoid that is constantly variable with speed
and one with RPM
not necessarily activated by ecu like the IAB system on gsr intake.

its just a project out of curiocity and for fun so no serious competition stuff please..

all i know is the arduino system that i saw on mp3car thats about it.

or maybe an RPM/speed dependent generator that outputs voltage depending on RPM and can power electromagnetic actuator or linear motor.

and like i said i dont really know many details about this.

For the second item you asked about you could use a RPM activated switch such as MSD makes (not sure if its the best). Honestly they are expensive since you buy the switch and then have to buy the modules to controll it. Hopefully theres a cheaper alternative. Search for RPM activated switches

Or did you also want this RPM switch to be variable as well, maybe I misunderstood?

The first item is confusing me though, Snip: "solenoid that is constantly variable with speed"

So is the idea for the solenoid to active like an on off switch at different speeds? Or do you mean for it to controll flow in a progressive way (low speed=low flow, high= higher flow ect.)?
Search for linear solenoids.

I guess i meant a linear motor that is controlled by rpm or speed. Im looking for both
