Default Wrong pilot bearing on a Y1?

Clutch died on my 90 CRX Si, that has a JDM B16/Y1 swap. Bought the car with the swap. Car is at a shop now just replacing with an OEM clutch, but the mechanic says they're having a hell of a time trying to fit a new OEM flywheel. Odd to me, because from what I understand all B-series OEM flywheels are the same. Am I wrong? He says the inner ring of the flywheel they took off is 8 3/4" diameter, while all the ones they've had delivered and tried are 8 5/8". Could this be because they're using the wrong clutch/flywheel? Or could there be a reason for the previous owner to modify the pilot bearing? Any insight would be helpful.

The flywheel all the same for b series, but the clutch is different. Y1 use the same clutch from 90-91 integra in US. I have Y1 in my EF
