Hey folks,

I went to buy a freinds wheels today, and when I went to use my wheel lock socket it, rounded right out (Yes I had it seated properly, its been screwing up alot because of how old it is.) We went to Canadian tire to pickup a 21mm socket to use on the secondary part of the wheel lock socket, and that rounded out to.. My question is WTF do I do now to get these lugnuts off? Plz and thanks everyone.

I tried my hardest to bang the 21mm socket evenly onto the wheel lock socket and nothing, still slips.

 

happened to me before... i used a air hammer n it came off easy... jus had to replace the lock nut

 

Can you explain please what you did and how you got it off. Remember all 4 studs on each wheel have a wheel lock on it... my car came like this

I am going to purchase this kit, but maybe suggestions and oppinions wouldn't harm either. Still racking my brain! lol

ya if u have access to an air hammer and a compressor... then jus use the chissel attachment for it... hit it wit the air hammer either side (top, bottom, left or right side) and make a lil groove in the nut then using the air hammer hit the lil groove in the direction the nut comes off... n it should come off pretty easy...

 

Remember all 16 of my lugnuts are Lock Keys, and Yes I will keep that in mind thanks bro!!

 

I had to use a lug stripper from autozone. cost about 15$
