Thought I would inquire the help from fellow R owners as well...

looks ok, but why reinvent the wheel? That basic design was ironed out decades ago. Why not just buy one?

I have limited space on where I can play the catch can so all of the ones that I have found, are not small enough to go where I need so it needs to be made.

The filter is an extra baffle per say since I cannot extend the baffle any lower due to space limitations or else there would be no filter. An extra measure so there isn't oil spewing out everywhere.

Er no. It's a filter for filtering your filter. All you're saying is your design is inadequate and that was the only thing you could come up with to address a design flaw-ie the baffle isn't long enough.

It is a design flaw yes. My design flaw no. I am modifying an existing catch can as is the best option then making a full custom made one.

That was the option that i can think of. Do you have any other suggestions then? Or think that single chamber baffle is enough and keep the tank as is without the stainless mesh and extra filter?

I hear your criticism and justifiable they are but any suggestions?

I have an external water pump under my intercooler charge pipe so the can cant be attached to the passenger strut tower and there is no room anywhere on the firewall so I have to build an extension bracket from the firewall to mount below my intercooler pipe where it meets my throttle body and there is limited space under there.

I am restricted by heights not by width there...

And I am not removing my battery to put a catch can there.

How is it an existing design? You drew a picture of it?
In your other thread you state "This is what I plan on doing for my oil catch can. Sorry for the shitty drawing and hope you get the idea."

You didn't say you were modifying an existing design/catchcan. And don't forget, YOU asked for criticism. And the suggestion is blatantly obvious; ditch the idea of another filter since it makes absolutely no sense.

If I held up a sealed can then you couldn't get an idea of what was inside so I drew it and added what I thought might help and asked for suggestions and criticism. I understand and accept your criticism, never was disappointed to hear any of it. Just asked for suggestions if you had any as well.

I'll just leave this thread as be and figure it out by myself from what has been said. Thanks for your help.

^^ I'd like to see one of those. Thats a neat design.

I've done this using these parts. It worked, but because the catch containers are so small I was constantly draining oil out of it and if you aren't paying alot of attention to it it fill ups quickly and creates blockage easily. Beware if using this one.
