Default my 93 ex turbo build

hello there ht members, i've been on here for some time, and well here's my build thread, it started out as a stock 93 auto ex, i had a set of black with a polished lip adr sokudo 8's that i had on my wagon along with a set of eibach raceline lowering springs, did little things to it here and there, stereo, steering wheel, camber kit, cross drilled and slotted rotors, then i decided i wanted to go see my lil brother in idaho, i live in southern cali by the way, got there and then everything started taking shape, sanding, priming, sealing body work and so forth, then came out with this great paint job.....

oh yeah after seeing the picture, i put some red clear tail lights on it to, well i drove it home and waited tell i was able to wash it, finally got it all prettied up and went to a little car show, all went well and everyone loved the new paint, well stayed the night at my now ex's house, and the next day driving home, the oil pump goes out, and there goes the motor, well i had been planning to do the 5 speed swap as it was, but now had to put that on hold, then by chance i got a good used motor with only 60,000 miles on it for free....

so i brought that home and got started tearing it down, it was beautiful still has all the hone marks on the cylinders, the head was flow tested and everything was great, but i wasnt satisfied, so i replaced every seal, top to bottom, and threw and new set of piston rings in it aswell, then i was like, i think i need a turbo, then all my money started getting spent on that....

then i decided, well i'm pulling the engine and trans out, so 5 speed swap is ago, so i got me a lightened flywheel, 5 spd and all the other parts to go along with it, then i was looking around and didnt find any gauge pods i liked, so i got started on my own, it's still rough, it needs some sanding then paint....

then while i was sealing the engine, i got creative with the paint to compliment the new paint job...

the intake manifold is drying right now and it's been painted silver along with the new trans, then my new chipped and base mapped p75 ecu showed up, thanks to mad fab,

so now i'm waiting on paint to dry and the new crank pulley to show up, and finishing up the oil pan with the turbo drain in it, the i get to bolt it up, pull the old blown crap out drop in the new stuff, exhaust shop then tune and i'll be all ready to go, i'll keep you all updated on the rest of the progress, and comments or questions feel free to post, but please be nice, lol tell the next issue i'm out

Good looking build so far. You have a very vibrant colour pallet.

Have you checked the compression/health of the engine? Any plans for upgrading the internals?

Lol sorry the flames are staying, and as for the compression was 170 psi across the board before I took the engine apart, I'm going all stock internals, and only about 250 horse, it's a daily driver and I have kids, but I plan on building a bigger more beefy motor later for a coupe or a wagon, so as of right now it's staying stock
