I put a battery to the sol for the first time however no ecu and no alternator yet, so I put the key in and it beeps for the door open, brake lights work, and the windows roll down. So I'm checking the systems for just a few minutes and the battery dies, so I charge it put it back in and the key and it starts to beep for the door open, then take the key out, then go back put the key in and no beep. Now I have no power no brake lights no interior lights nothing. My fuses under the dash are good, any suggestions ?

 

Sounds like a short to ground is draining the battery.

 

I took the battery out of my fit and tried that and nothing and then charged my del sol battery and still nothing

 

Do the hazard lights work?

What year is your car?

Sounds like the battery ground attached to the chassis is disconnected, loose, or corroded.

 

Ok cool I will check that out. Its a 93.

 

If I was there I would kiss you sir . My bolt grounding my battery was just the tiniest bit loose I really really appreciate your help
