Which tegs are faster stock, G2 or G3??
A friend and I were having a discussion. He was at the track and mentioned that G2 GSR's were faster than G3 GSR's. Is this true? I always thought it was pretty much the same car mechanically. These are stock cars keep in mind. If they are faster what are the differences that make it so??
BTW, I drive a G3 GSR, but I dont really care which is faster, Just curious what you guys think.

G2 GSR has 10 less hp but weighs a little less. The horsepower to weight ratio is probably pretty close. So it depends on the driver IMO.
G2 GSR's are much more rare.

fastest G2 GSR is the '93 rated @ 15.3 quarter mile
fastest G3 GSR is the '95 rated @ 15.2 quarter mile
Its just gonna come down to the driver if those two models square off stock vs. stock.

you cant really go by the stock times. it all depends in the condition of things like the clutch and tires, also some G3 gsr's are much stronger. my friends stock ran a 14.7.
