What the heck is this?

Its on the back of the intake manifold right above the intake temp sensor. What the heck is it? and what does it do? Where should the air lines from it go?

purge valve solenoid i belive, PVC. I'll have to check under my hood but i think it heads to the charcol canister, I'll have to double check that though
