Default <<<<All motor D16 outrageous fuel pressure>>>>

rocking a civic si hatchback, D16 bottom end w/p29 high compression pistons(12:1) port and polished head, stainless steal valves stage 3 bisimoto race cam, high flow noc off header and junk 2 intake mani. trying to get this single cam tunned(on hondata s300) keeps leaning out around 5k rpms, after further looking into fuel pressure its and an OUTRAGEOUS 70 psi(on two gauges). these pressure readings were taking at fuel filter and fuel pump. changed the fpr, rerouted return and feed fuel lines, replaces fuel pump, fuel rail, fuel filter. some fallow up noticed while starting the engine using a battery charger(wisco cold weather) the fuel pressure would peak to 90 almost 100 psi!! in doing so changed out alternator, to find no change. anyone with some knowledge on these crazy fuel pressures, let me know.

tried the adjustable FPR, did not help with bringing the psi down substantially only a few pounds.

Don't see how that possible. What FPR? Sounds like you have no idea what you're doing with that Hondata.

did you check the voltage coming into your fuel pump? You said you measured the pressure at the pump and it was high, must mean that your voltage supplied to the pump is high too..
