Im getting a 08 civic si this weekend and when I get it, im getting a CAI or SRI and a skunk 2 catback. I want to get the megapower r exhaust, but does anyone know where I can get it the cheapest. Does anyone have a coupon to a online store or something where it can be cheaper. Im just trying to save as much money as I can.

 

If you want one cheap just buy a used one, check out 8ths market place. Have you heard what that exhaust sounds like? For what you're going to pay there are much better options. I mean that from a looks, sound and quality standpoint.

 

yea i have heard it plenty of times. I test drove a civic si with it on. i plan to turbo my civic and they say that this is good. ive looked for others, but i don't know which actually sound better. have any ideas?

 

Skunk2 is stupid loud IMO, full-race 3in or another 3in exhaust with a real muffler would be a wiser choice. Unless you enjoy annoying the popo

 

if you ACTUALLY plan on going turbo, go with the megapower rr or go power because the 2.75" megapower r will hold you back.

if you will most likely stay NA go with megapower r WITH alpha header (might as well do exhaust right the first time).

Cheaper alternative to Skunk2 is Tsudo N1 exhaust. $270 exhaust same as skunk2 minus paying for the name. nice deep tone too but may make your ears bleed at wot.

 

Full Race hands down... sorry but the Skunk2 exhaust are not great quality!

 

I have listened to a couple different systems and I would have to agree the full race exhaust sounds awesome compared to the others I have heard.

 

skunk 2 is retarded loud it sound pretty good but super loud. there is much better quality and more hp gains then skunk2

 

 

Buddy club makes amazing exhausts. Imo the best quality and sound look up si with bc.cbe
