Default [info]Partnumber of NSX brake-calipers

Hi,

What are the numbers on NSX brakes... I mean the number on the brake calipers themselfs... because I am picking up some second hand brakes from a scrapyard... I want to be sure I got NSX brakes and not Legend or lower specs...

No I can not check on my NSX cause I got no NSX... It for my Civic... big brake conversion...

Thx for the help all...

well nsx brakes are a dead give away as they say NSX on them

btw, legend brakes are nearly identical to the nsx brake calipers.....save some minor differences(the nsx writen on the side and some VERY minor internal/construction differneces; the perfomace is nearly or is identical)

yes I did check the brakes on both cars to make sure .....its about all I can do since the stupid acura doesnt work very well!!!

Thanks I hope one day it will work. Anyway, try nsxprime.com under marketpalce, parts for sale and see if you can get parts from someone. They will be more expensive than a junkyard, but the relaiblity of the parts will be better, in other owrds they will prob wirk and not be well junk. but getting the parts from the above will still be better than going new oem....its around 300 per caliper(with discount)!!!!!!

So try find someone who has the set up first to make sure they work.....I have nsx brake calipers on my G5 prelude, they work.....but the rotors didnt so now I have a set of rotors hanging in my garage. so make sure everything works first before attempting it.

if I can help, just tell me how!

Got them this morning from the junkyard... condition look okay... will disassemble them for a closer inspection... found the workshop-manual on nsxprime...

Great stuff...

BTW The freaking things are heavy and HUGE !!!
