Hey guys,

I bought the car back in September and decided to not register/put the car on the road because winter was on its way. I am the 3rd owner (a middle aged gentleman bought it from his father). Things have changed for me and wouldn't mind freeing up some funds to buy a house. With that said I do not have to sell it, but would be wise for me at this point in time.








And right where it belongs for the winter...



Mods list:

-Full Pedders Track II suspension package (every bushing under car replaced, struts with lowering springs, sway bars and strut tower bars)
-GMM Rip shifter
-Nitto NT-555 tires (mod?)
-Revised ignition locking cyl. (mod?)


Car is in great shape and its hard to find these cars not trashed. If I can break even I would be happy. Price is $19,500. I am not making any money at this price as that is what I bought it for. Well entertain serious offers/trades. Prefer out right sale.

Beautiful car, wish it was blue and slightly closer and a bit cheaper lmao. I've always wanted to make the jump into one of these from a Honda but haven't yet lol.

 

Thing to remember about GTO's

-Stock suspension in these cars have been proven to be garbage because of how they were strapped down on the boat coming from Australia. This car has the best suspension you can get and has changed how it handles dramatically.

-Key locking cylinders are also a known GM issue. You could put the key in but can not turn to any position due to the drop pin design inside the cylinder. This car will never have that issue.

-Stock shifters are as sloppy as a dick in a boot. The GMM shifters are the best as far as throw distance and how crispy it feels. Again changes the entire driving experience.

Any part that was put on was to either fix known issues with GTO's or prevent any future head aches. Pedders and GMM work specifically with G8/GTO platforms and are of best quality. I searched hard for one that was just right. Ill never find one this clean and with these things done to it ever again. Pedders Track II package was $3300 and shifter was $400. I know mods don't add to price, but these are key points on what to look for when purchasing a GTO.

After I get rid of my 04 Lightning, I wanted a GTO for the longest time. The exact issues you describe above this post, are reasons I didn't pursue one. Not to mention fuel costs and tire costs compared to little Civics. Haha. That being said you have addressed those issues and have a gem for sale here man! Those cars are badass. I would take those over the last Trans Ams...heard a GTO pull into my gym a few years ago...just complete badass...I think I already said that.
