So my nearly 4yr CRX project is nearly ready for color and I cannot make up my mind. I almost bought paint the other day and decided to wait a little longer. I pretty much have it narrowed down to 2 colors.

The color I'm fairly certain I'm gonna stick to is Graphite Luster Metallic. This is a 2011-current Acura color. Can't decide it its too dark for me or not.

The other color in question is Moon Rock Metallic. This is a jdm s2000 color as far as I understand. Should be lighter than the graphite.

Anyone have experience with these 2 colors in person?

Any opinions welcome. Btw the car will be matching paint everywhere, running stock black moldings, dark colored wheels, and jdm front. Very simple clean build.

 

Those two colors are a few shades away from each other. Personally I like Graphite Luster Metallic a little better.
I had my EF hatch painted gun metal gray and it looks amazing in my opinion. It looks closer to the graphite than moon rock.
My wheels are dark colored as well but I've been looking to change them because it's too much dark for me.
In the end, its all your preference. I say the graphite though.

 

Thanks for your opinion man! The more I look at pictures the more I think the moon rock has such a cool look to it. Almost like a dark chrome look but the problem is I don't know of one car that color around that I can see in person. I want something different but subtle.

Nice looking hatch. Although looks a little blue for my taste. Def along the lines of what I'm looking for.

 

Yeah, it does have a slight blue color to it in certain lighting. It trips me out.
