Metal in clear...wtf HELP!
Hello. I just got my 1990 Skyline GT-R back from getting JCI (I'm in Okinawa) and it appears while it was there someone had a car over or around it and was using a grinder. There are little grains of rusted metal in my clear coat now. I am going to see what the garage says but I doubt anything will come of it. In the mean time I got a good clay bar and some quick detail spray and it seems to be coming out but it's a real pain in the *** and a lot of rubbing.
Today is the first day I have had to wash it since I got it last Wednesday. After washing it today I noticed the specs and little white dots surrounding them. I'm just trying to save my paint because this car is in really good shape and from mainland.
Thanks in advance!

I had something similar happen to a maxima when the brake pad was worn down and tearing into the rotor. It sucks, lots of time with a clay-bar. and several clay-bars at that. I think overall i had about 6ish or so hours into the passenger side of the car. Just take your time, get it all out. Polish and wax the car.
