Holy crap dude stage pro3's are massive! I hope you have the $ for race gas, b/c those need above 12:1 c/r just to "idle"- more like rat-a-tat-tat, rat-a-tat-tat...good luck

Um ya, all we have in southwest is crappy 92octane. Pings pretty good down here if c/r is 12+ w/o dumping additives in the tank

That is false. I had Pro3's in my b20v dd and it idle's like stock. As long its tuned and degreed in properly with the correct internals he will be fine

All motor: if I just measure my v2v clearnace couldn't I just use drop in setting of I believe 0,+4 and just adjust gears on dyno? Instead of degreeing

I've always recommended degreeing cams in, in some cases its just not able to happen, due to experince or money issues. Alot of guys use the drop in settings and are fine, IF they know their v2v and p2v.

Alot of people will give you different answers, you'll always hear mine be the same.. Run .030(minimal) on v2v and for p2v, its going to depend on you and what you feel safe with there's alot of variations you can run.. people run as little as 0.050, others .120..which is alot lol.

If you know your clearances, drop them in on the drop in settings and move them accordly on the dyno, keeping in mind your chart you should be making.. Keep in mind on the pro series, 99% of the time, the exhaust cam is always more advanced in the intake..

checking your clearances is MUCH more important than degreeing. if you know your clearances you will know exactly which settings are safe to try on the dyno. theres no point in degreeing the cams w/o checking clearances for two reasons. the first being you may not have enough clearance to run them on the degreed settings. the other being the degreed settings don't always make the best power on the dyno.

check your clearances then dial them in on the dyno. if you want the clearances checked and cams degreed pm me, im in Arnold MD its between Annapolis and bmore.

Haven't gotten to start up yet my motors on my stand in a bag along with my alaniz head I just need to pick up my pro3's & ID1000's then she'll be ready to go.
I'm hopin to have a stock idle once degreed & tuned.... Hopefully
I have Supertech h1000dr springs tho so those might be a little noisy
I'm also shooting for 250+
