Default how much do you estimate for a '97 one?

It has no mechanical problems. everything stock except the new cd player, and new rims.
130k Mi. manual. only driven for weekend travel.

it's $2300. What cha think?

Okay, it's DX, 4-Cyl, 2.2 Liter, SOHC. It's from a private seller.

If the body is in fair condition and like you said nothing mechanically wrong that you need to immediately fix and it has decent mileage 2300 sounds fair. I would say somewhere between 2000 and 2300, depending on if there's anything that needs your immediate concern or not.

CARFAX - accidents/history

Mods do not add to the price of a vehicle, if someone spent $2k on wheels/tires that does not mean add $2k on top of the price of the car.
