I swaped the cam an rack an i have alot of ticking an my car has no power till vtech kickes in at 3100rpms. Did a valve adjustment but still ticks hard. Also i put a d16z5 cam an rack in
You're messing with cams and cam gears and don't know what TDC is?
You need to start reading. Pick up a FSM before you **** your engine up.

People can only do so much based off a description on a Internet forum!
FSM= factory service manual and is the best solution to your problem!!
What is your reasoning for swapping cams? Stock ecu? Sounds like you opened a can of worms and are getting over your head especially not knowing TDC.

On top of all of this, you have an HX. You say you put a D16Z5 cam and camshaft in. That isn't even possible. The D16Z5 is non-VTEC, whereas the D16Y5 is VTEC-E. The valvetrain in both engines operates completely differently. So besides the fact that what you claim to have done isn't even possible, you haven't even told us why you're trying to do this.
Ok so i did a full head swap on my hx. I put a d16y8 head on. Works great only problem is i have a ticking/knocking in my vlave train. Thinking i need a valve adjustment? Not sure what do u guys thing
I'm going to be as nice as possible, since you seem new to all of this. We're here to help with problems, not to spoon feed you information. You don't even know what TDC means. That's spoon feeding. Five seconds searching would tell you what it is. You obviously jumped into this little project without actually learning what you're doing.

These are all things you should have said in the original post. Also, you're typing a post, not sending a text message - stop being lazy in your typing. And has a third letter in it.
So right now, you have a D16Y5 bottom end, a D16Y8 head, and a D16Z6 valvetrain? Did you set your mechanical and ignition timing correctly? You can't use the stock Y8 settings any more.

And what ECU are you using? If you're just running a stock Y8 head package on a Y5 block, the only thing you'll need is the OBD2A EX ECU, and to rewire the O2 sensor from 5 wire to 4 wire. Other than that, it's all straight plug and play, with a couple extra plugs for the now-defunct EGR. You only need an adjustable cam gear if you're running the Z6 valvetrain in the Y8 head.
Plus i knew what top dead center is just did not know what the abreviation is since were talking about spelling now. Buy the way so what is ur point? An? And? Adn? Nda? Bwah! U mad broski!!? Sand in ur vag today whydid!??? Lmao psh smh

Making fun of people trying to help you and understand your gibberish typing will not net the results you would like.

There's your pin-out for the O2 sensor. Your brake lights are a completely different problem. Don't drive the car until you get that fixed, but do one thing at a time.
I never had any intentions of helping you. My intentions were to insult you for my own pleasure.
The P28 is the wrong ECU, unless you're chipping and tuning it. I see no reason to be doing that, and it's only making it more complicated.

Then you need to be more concise.

I already told you what ECU to use.
