1992 ACCORD Ex Trans Problem
Im having transmission issues.I replaced the shift solenoids and that didnt fix it. I pulled the tcm out and checked and one of the resistors were burned so i replaced it along with a capacitor that was leaking. Drove it for about a week and it burned the resistor again. So i pulled the tcm out of my other accord which is the same year and model and it did good for about a month. Now its doing it again.
Make sure there are no short circuits in the harness, verify the ground cables from engine to body are intact and making a solid electrical connection.

I pulled the tcm i pulled out of my other accord back out and its fried. So i took the original which only had one burned resistor and replaced the resistor. I also replaced the main relay. It ran great afterwards. Go to get in it today and the d4 light is stuck on now.
As Mr. "MADMIKE" asked, be sure all of the connections are clean and tight. Same failure of the tcm usually leads to a bad connection......
On this gen...I'm with the shift/lock up solenoid connections....based on reading and personal experience....good luck.
