Got a 90 honda hatch DX and I am having trouble with the passenger side glass. It can shift forward about 1/2 and binds when rolling up the window. I have checked everything thing I know. Track looks good, lift scissor is good and it does it when all the way up or down. Only thing I can figure is a CRX glass is smaller.....Could this be?

CRX doors are different since they arch down at the end. There's also differences in width between door mounted seatbelt cars and interior mount cars I believe, I know the doors are different.

 

I didn't thank about the seat belt differents...may measure my window and go measure the one at the junk yard cause it worked fine.

 

my window does this too (91 hatch si) and I believe mine is due to the window being loose on the platform (glass to the base) did you check that?

 

You'd know for sure if it was a CRX window because it wouldn't fit worth crap, I don't think it could even really close all the way.

Because of the shape difference I'm pretty sure you'd have huge gaps if you could even fit it in there.

 

It is secure to the bottom mount but looks to be sliding where the top of the scissor is...going to take it down tonight. I may be missing some stops or something.
