just replaced my flywheel clutch disc pressure plate and throw out bearing. on my d15bv in a 91 ef si stock tranz. now my car wont go into gear unless the clutch cable is almost all the way maxed and the pedal is rather low for my liking. any imput? i replaced the clutch cable with a junkyard one already. looks mint. should i break down and buy a new one?

 

I had a similar issue and I replaced with a new autozone cable. The cable adjustment part was much beefier/allowed more adjustment and fixed my issue. 30$ bucks new isn't a huge investment anyway.
