I would go with a short intake, just because I'm paranoid about hydrolock. The AEM CAI is good for dyno runs (cold air outside the engine bay), but I haven't been able to tell the difference on the street (air always being circulated because the car is moving) with my and my friends gsr's. HTH

cold air intake is out side of the engine bay down by the fender which gets more cold air into ur engine which means a bit better performance

Regular= Pro- no water to suck in. Con- Sucks in hot air from engine bay

CAI= Pro-Gets coler air from the ground. Gives more HP then the regular (short)

Con- Might risk hydrolocking your car.

Dude try a search....that might help. Just get a damn CAI and you'll be happy. When it rains don't go in any puddles or you'll be sorry.

Water gets sucked up into the engine and, since water doesn't compress, things inside the engine bend or break. It's not fun. As for the wheels, for every pound of extra weight on the wheels, it's like 7 or 12 additional pounds added when the wheel is spinning. So, to answer your question, the car feels slower because it is.

just get the Comptech Icebox and you'll be happy. $159 plus $60 for filter. Run it on stock air tubing.
