for a honda civic that is never going to see the street, is it nessecary for it to have any rear suspension. what i mean by that is would it have any effect if the rear was solid. i see alot of guys buy strange front struts and convert them to work in the rear and some guys converting to a swing arm, is there really a need for rear suspension on an all out front wheel drive drag car.

 

that would really depend on what class you intend to compete in

 

no real class i just do alot of tnt with the family. we go to the track have a bbq dont really compete much i use to run 8.50 index with a turbo mustang and got tired of all the maintenance. just building something to have fun with.

 

then i wouldnt even bother with going to a solid rear. just get some stiff springs.
