Aftermarket or OEM LCAs
So I'm on my way of piecing together a rear sway bar kit with the OG Comptech brace and an Eibach 25 mm bar with endlinks, but one thing I would like to ask, are aftermarket LCAs neccesary if I don't track every day, and do some spirited driving every now and then, and if someone can give me a dumb down idea of the point of adjustable LCAs that would be really appreciated.
Thanks
Ok, it seems I have 2 options:
1) Buy new Function7 LCAs
2) Buy Hardrace hard rubber bushing
Pros for F7 LCAs:
-Ease of install
-Fast (no waiting for bushings)
-Warranty
-Looks nice
Cons:
-Expensive
Pros for Hardrace:
-Less Expensive
-Superb Quality (rubber)
-I prefer OEM look
Cons:
-Waiting
-Unsure if able to install in garage
-Possible Damage
Thanks

For 99.5% of cars aftermarket LCAs are purely aesthetic. There is an advantage to ligher LCAs, however, as 1) they weigh less and 2) half the mass is unsprung. So hardcore racers might consider changing LCAs for those reasons.
However there are some compromises too, as aftermarket LCAs usually have inferior bushings, and do not fit rubber bushings. For a car that sees routine daily use the best setup is probably OEM LCAs with rubber bushings. This is especially true for Integras, as aftermarket LCAs often have incorrect sway bar mounting points.

i would go with aftermarket in my opinion, if your going upgrade your suspension. Aftermarket like f7 are beefier and have been proven to last. Oem control arms are meant for dalily rides not for track usage or driving aggressively. I mean aftermarket are expensive but you get what you pay for.

But if you like them/want them, get them!
I'll be buying the function7 LCA/sub frame brace combo soon.

OK, so now im on the final steps to executing this project but I need a few more pieces of guidance, if I were to remove the LCA bolt, would I have to replace the bushings? and if I do which do you guys prefer, PU or rubber, brands?
No need to replace the bushings if they aren't bad.
OEM or aftermarket replacement would be fine.
if you want aftermarket get Suja or Hardrace.

Function 7 is good for a variety of reasons. Warranty, good bushings, lighter weight, adjustable endlink mount location for fine tuning or compatibility. It's just a lot of money to initially shell out.
I noticed both of those are rubber bushings, but what about Energy Suspension? They're Polyurethane, and supposedly much easier to install. I don't think I'll have the time during install to get a 20+ ton press, and install rubber bushings, unless its possible to install it with the "threaded-rod" technique.

do you think this "threaded rod technique" would work for hard rubber bushings?
