Found white goo under my oil cap.
While I was replacing my plenum and TB gasket today (trying to find this never fixed surging idle issue) I checked my oil catch can and found a TON of white goop, then I checked my oil cap. Sure enough it has water in the system... This is recent, could my catch can be causing some sort of water build up? Its a custom catch can, I made a thread for it awhile back. Or is my head gasket shot? I really, really hope its not my head gasket because I refuse to pay to have it done when I can do it myself. I have also now removed my catch can for simplicity's sake, and replaced the oil cap with a spare I had laying around to see if it comes back. I have a KS Tuned balancer shaft delete, and a variable pulley in mind so if the head gasket is bad its not the END of the world, just looking for a more refined answer.
Ideas?

I don't have any noticable coolant loss, and my PCV is brand new. I also think my oil level is correct, shoot it was directly in between full and low last time I checked it.
Definitely the humidity but how?
Catchcan is suppose to do job... try to test is coolant system leaking with something like this http://www.harborfreight.com/radiato...kit-69258.html

Condensation maybe???? Not sure where you are...... But in cold weather that can happen. Head Gasket???? ........ If you aren't losing coolant, a couple of other things you might check before jumping into that one ..........
Is there any trace of oil in the coolant (Try tasting it. It should be sweet and not oily)
Is the any pressure build up in the ccooling system.???? Drive the car up to normal running temp. Then let it stand for a couple of hours or so and release the pressure cap. There should be no residual pressure there.
Hope this helps a bit.

I live in Minnesota, the last few days the temperature has fluctuated from 37 farenheit to 5 farenheit in a matter of two-three days. Not to mention getting warm, then cold from driving it. I have no residual pressure from the cooling system after being cool to the touch (couple of hours). I would like to invest in a compression tester and a radiator testing setup, even if neithere are wrong with my car I would still like to have them as an open resource. I also found moisture in my plenum when I replaced my gasket last night, if that matters.
I have a 94 EX coupe with an F22B1 but that is irrelevant to the question being asked

I see you're from Minot AFB, I was born there. My Dad was active duty Airforce back then. Sweet!
