Any recommendations? I want it to be maybe two inches shorter than stock.

Not trying to look cool or anything, I have a special need which requires more clearance. If I could re-use the stock **** all the better, I just need it lowered.

Yeah I know some people will be curious. It's nothing sexy. I have to rig a couple cars for professional purposes. Since it isn't technically my project I'll refrain from divulging too much.

Basically I'm having to install some equipment for some people in the console/dash area. The optimal configuration results in the user punching the stuff every time they put it in park. With another inch or two the car could be shifted easily with no problem.

 

Really? Nobody? Is there a compatible assembly from another model I could swap in from a junk yard maybe? I'm not real familiar with this kind of mod so I'm at square one.
