Been looking on google for answers but cnt find anything.its all just on door panels.i was wondering if when u remove the door from a 90 crx do u have to remove the panels or do you unplugg the harness from the inside of the car.or is it easier fromt he inside of the door?plz help

 

I think the plug is in the door. dont worry its not too difficult to remove.

For the '90-'91 hatchback:

There is one screw at the back of the door panel,
one at the bottom where the seatbelt runs through,
there is one in the armrest pocket/handle,
there are 2 behind the speaker cover which is held on by 2 screws,
and there is one screw at the top front corner.

Then you need to pop the wire clip off of the window crank, a shoe lace or thick string works good. wrap the string around the back of the crank and pull on it until it pops loose, you'll need to find the right direction to pull so try different directions or try to get a look at the clip so you can know which way to go.

Now its only held on by 6 clips, so you can gently pull it off, you need to pull it up a bit first, its hooked in the window channel.

 

if your putting on a new door...remove the door panel and then remove the speaker and inside there is a plug....bam its now ready for the replacment door

 

If you can get to it through the speaker hole you could possibly leave the panel on.
Just pull the speaker cover off and then remove the speaker, reach through and unplug the door harness.

That would simplify things a bunch. Good call Brutabuss!
