Default 1997 2.2L vtec help

I have a 2.2L Vtec engine out of a 1997 Accord EX. What all cars, without major parts change, will this engine work in? I just wanna find a home for it with out major work. I know 1996 EX coupes & sedans & 1997 EX coupes will except it. How about Preludes? And any others?

If you are a WA resident with a car for sale that has a bad engine let me know. Looking for a sedan but will consider a coupe. Must be in pretty decent shape exterior (8/10) and interior (8/10). Most of everything there. And will except this 2.2L Vtec. I really don't care for reds but will consider at the right price.

Thanks

Preludes and accords have the same engine bay. 4th and 5th gen preludes cam with f22's in certain models. If you choose a prelude, the f22 would be direct swap in, at most it would require a small amount of wiring for vtec if the model didnt have a vtec engine from the factory.

To swap a f22 into a 96-00 civic will require the same amount of work to go into any other 88-00 honda/acura (besides accords and preludes obviously)

What year span is 4th and 5th gen preludes? I am not real savy on Honda stuff, just enough to keep me out of deep trouble Really I am looking for a direct bolt in without any mods at all if I can help it all. Just want to use this engine that I have a little cash dumped into from my daughter's wrecked car. I don't know what all to look for on Craig' list besides 1996 - 1997 Accord EX models. Thanks for the fast reply.

Direct swap in, no bs, would be 92-96 prelude vtec model (not s, or si) 97-01 base model and sh model, 94-97 accord ex, and lastly 97-99 acura 2.2 cl.
Keep in mind you'll want to run the f22 ecu in whatever car it will be going into.

If you install it in anything other than a '96+ vehicle you will need to downgrade it to OBDI from OBDII.

Direct swap into the '96/'97 Accord EX, nearly direct swap into a '96/'97 Accord DX/LX/SE (OBDII but no VTEC)

Should work in Preludes (92-96 & 97-01), Odysseys (94-98), Acura CL (97-99) and I'm sure a few others. Those guys mentioned come with a variant of the F-series motor.

Good point on the 96+ obd2...slipped my mind. If it was pre-96 wouldnt he just need to change the distributor to an obd1 unit? or that and injectors?
