I have a ef hatch and im trying to fit a double din dvd touch screen into my radio spot. I have the center A/C and radio console panel out Is there a panel swap i can do? Don't wanna FAB anything up.

 

Stock panel is for a single DIN.
There wasn't a double DIN panel offered.

You will have to do some fab work.

There was an audio console offered that might interest you.
It looks very similar to this


however it had an EQ for the radio mounted where the pocket is above the lighter.

I had one of these optional consoles and had my single DIN radio mounted in that spot.
If you were to relocate your A/C controls down to that spot, then you could modify the stock radio spot to hold a double DIN unit.


Similar to what this guy did - but your A/C would be in the bottom and you could use all the space up top for Double DIN

 

TY for that info but Would A/C controls really move all the way down there? like enough slack in the wires and mechanisms?

Will a crx si console fit exactly?

 

You would need to swap over the entire CRX dash to make the lower console work.
