hello new to posting on here but ive used this site for plenty of information in the past and a viable resource for me.

so heres my problem my crx took a crap so im buying a new civic. im looking at a 91 hatch with a legal(i live in cali) b18a1 swap with 300k on the body and 180k on the motor for 3100 or a 94 jdm inspired eg coupe with a d16z6 288k miles for 2900

i know its not much of a problem but i need some motivation to pick up one or the other

I say go with the one that was "hacked" the least. Project cars can be a str8 hot mess (to quote a user), so make sure its no too messed up.

 

yeah the eg is bone stock from a adult who bought it that way well maintained just high milage ill go that way then cheaper and looks nicer. the b18a1 looks dirty in the engine bay but it is bar

 

both motors are MEH, and both bodies have a lot on them, i agree with GROG, which ever is least hacked or rusted out

 

pics might help but I'd say jdm coupe since the other ones older with more miles and a swap might have some wiring issues, among other things
