My 1994 Accord EX's dash lights and climate control lights started flickering a day ago and now won't come back on. When I drive home from work (about 50 minute commute) they turn back on but a 10-15 drive they don't come back on. They do flicker before turning back on during my morning commute though. Checked fuses and they seemed fine as well.

Any suggestions?

 

sounds like it could be weak or loose connection? I've never had that problem yet, but since you've checked the fuses, i'd check out the wiring if it was me.

 

sounds like its your bulbs mate. are they stock bulbs? if so then its an old car and sometimes old bulbs just go. this happened to me when I replaced my dash lights with cheap eBay leds. they were bad quality and died after 2 weeks so I replaced them again with local good quality ones and its never happened since. you should probly open up your dash and check the climate control and gauge cluster lights and see if they need replacing. if its not the bulbs then it would have to be a loose or dodgy connection somewhere.

Dimmer Switch on the left of the steering column with the little **** to change the brightness. Grab a replacement.

I'd check on the Small Lights fuse as well just as a precaution.

 

Everything on the dash works, the tach the speedo the turn signal lights warning lights gas gage everything but the lights same with the climate control lights. I checked the small lights fuse and it was good. I guess I'll have to head down to a pull a part or search the Internet for a piece
