Default collectiveracing.net

I got permission for this from our fearless leader "Nick M" to post this, so no Haters.
Some of you know me here at HT and know that I have a site as well. I am extending an invitaion to anyone interested. Our MSG board is mostly for those local to AZ, However from time to time, there is good info posted there. The site has been streamlined, but like most sites you will have to register to post. We will also be adding a gallery section for some of the rediculous stuff I work on. Specifically like my accord and Civics... Soon to be building the "stroker from Hell"
this should be a '02 Accord coupe with '03 6 speed and a 3.5 from a odessey stroked to a 4.0+ltr NA. If the funding works out we'll see what happens...

We are still trying to negotiate a deal with a local salvage yard. Most likely it will be an '02. It will depend on the platform changes with next years Accord coupe. This is still in the planning stages, but should come to reality in the next few months At least on the engine side...

2point6 - didn't you buy the SMSP header off of Corey? What did you think of it?

On the the V6, we have been considering FBG individual carbs. I should have some of these out on a "stroker" B16 real quick.
Also, the SMSP header hasn't been Dynoed yet, But my trap speed jumped 2 mph. The car was not set up for track duty either. I just put my slicks on and ran. My race set-up is about 100lbs lighter and the car still hasn't been tuned yet. So based on this I should see nice gains from the header. BTW, I was pulling 1.9 60ft and the car was bogging off of the line because I was leaving at 5000 RPM instead of 7000. It is very apparent that the car slows then takes off again in the videos. We are trying to post them on the collective site now.

Was this the SMS 4-into-1 header or 4-2-1 header?

Cool. Did much of the front crossmember need to be removed? I think the 4th gen Accord has less clearance there than the 4th gen Lude.

LOL! Take a picture of my "ghetto fab"? I actually cut a section out and rewelded the seam. It looked nice at first, but the engine shifting (slightly) from front to back caused it to rub just bearly. Since we were trying to get to the IDRC the next day, I was forced to take the sledge to the crossmember. Then the damn thing was bent out of place so bad I had to beat it even more into submission... This is why we chose not to race. I hate "ghetto fabing" things , So honestly it was a little embarrasing to be showing off. I was hoping nobody would notice. I was wrong. Oh well. The new tubular crossmember should be in the car pretty quick this should help considerably with launches and handling. It is based on the Z10 crossmembers for the 88-91 civic/crx just adapted to work on the Accord.
