1997 Acura 3.2 TL
My Acura has a few issues I need help with. The first is when I turn the key in the ignition sometimes it cranks and sometimes it doesn't. If I keep turning the key it eventually cranks. Any ideas? The second is that the display on the climate control illuminates sporadically. Sometimes it works, sometimes not. I haven't been able to determine any common condition that causes it. Finally, with the headlights on I notice a flicker on occasion. The lights don't ever go off but the intensity changes momentarily. Help!!
I haven't had any of the above tested yet. The battery provides sufficient power to start the car every time. It just may take several turns of the key to get the system to "catch". This leads me to believe the battery and alternator are both fine. The starter is the question. I have been told that it takes some invasive work just to get to the starter. I believe it involved dropping an axle. If you have any knowledge about that I would appreciate it.
