What are roof racks made of?

easy question. What are oem 2000 crv roof racks made of? im looking to re-paint mine. i know the mounts are plastic. What are the bars and cross bars made of? aluminum? steel?

Side rails ar non ferris, probably aluminum/alloy, cross bars as steel with plastic.
