Default rear disc conversion on 99 civic ex

Hey everybody im sure this topic has been discussed some time but I am wanting to do a rear disc conversion. I need help knowing from what type of vehicle I can remove them from it is a four lug type. Also I know about the propotioning valve but im wondering if it is better to switch the master cylinder. please help!

When you google it, you will figure it out because as you stated it has been discussed many many many times!!!

Should check out the stick at the top of this section...

So do you need some one to install them or do you think you can handle it?

92-00 Civic.
94-01 Integra (except ITR)

Or buy the scarebird thing and keep your stock trailing arms.


You'll want to get a 99-00 SI prop valve. leave the MC alone.

Id like to install them myself but this is my first time so it would be of much help if I had someone help me out ive asked around they said its not hard to do but dont want to mess anything up

Install is easy... Hardest part would be swapping the prop valve.

I made a rear brake swap with Civic MB6 parts.
It's full bolt-on like DC2 parts, discs, pads and calipers have the same size as 98' DC2, but hub is 1cm larger on each side than DC2 8)

I believe you're supposed to use the SI ebrake cables as well.

Indeed, drum/disk E brake lines are totally different.

I didn't put that because I assumed he already knew that.
