My recommendation to you if you are looking to recoup as much money as possible would be to sell anything aftermarket you have on the car, and replace them with OEM parts.

- Mileage on the car?
- The title hurts the resale value
- The JDM front end hurts the resale value. (Is it OEM, is it HID or non-HID?)
- Rust on the vehicle?
- Dents on the vehicle?
- Timing belt and water pump replaced when the motor was rebuilt? If not, how many miles are on those items?


There is a lot more information you need to share with us before an accurate value could be placed on the vehicle.

the bonus side is that the car itself has low mileage. I saw this up for sale on c-list. I'm local (south bay) if you wanted to part some of your aftermarket stuff like the seats/wheels/cluster.

Figuring a salvage rolling shell sells for around $5k and yours is running.

I wouldn't sell for less than $9k.

Is the rebuilt motor the B18C JDM 180hp or the 200HP version? (see hmotorsonline dot com)
Does it pass CA emissions?

It's not original enough to bring top 'salvage title' money, of $10,000.

I'll agree with 'Jon D' and recommend that you sell the non-OEM parts separately, like cluster, intake, and rims

that car has a lot of nice parts. volks, recaros, jdm front etc

i don't think 9k is at all a stretch provided the engine has good compression and whatever salvaged the car has been fixed

was it a theft recovery?

mileage is also really low, does it check out on carfax? as in no rollbacks?
