I am swapping an AWD setup from a CRV into a Mini. Just bought the transmission today, but I still need to buy the shift assembly and cables. I was wondering if anyone has expierience with cables and shift assemblies. Specifically would a shift assembly and cables from a mid-2000 civic work on the CRV tranny? I would think so, I understand the cables will most likely be shorter but the benefit is the shifter it self is a lot shorter as well. And, there are many more on the market compared to CRV manual units.
