Default Timing belt issues on my crx

So i started hearing a weird noise coming from my timing belt.nxt day I checked it and it felt real loose.does this mean mayb the tensioner went bad?should I buy a whole kit for it?or try replacing just the tensioner?car was running fine and never overheated so I'm guessing the water pump is fine.

I'd just replace the tensioner and don't drive it. That belt snaps or comes off. Bye bye crx

I had the same problem with mine. I didn't replace the tensioner either, possibly the tension of the new belt puts more stress on it than the old one did. My old belt I could slide off the cam pulley with my fingers.
