Does anyone have a procedure for removing the console around the shifter in a 1996 Accord V6 automatic? My light is burned out.

 

first remove the cup holder, there is one screw up near the gear selector, remove it you do not need to remove the bottom 2 screws, then open up the arm rest and empty everything out , at the bottom of the arm rest there is a door , with a small flat blade screw driver open it, remove the 2 screws. pull the e brake handle up, pull the whole arm rest/center console towards the back seat, then lift it up over the e brake handle.Remove the 2 screws that hold the radio/gear shift bezel, next remove the ash tray there is a screw behind it remove it. thats all the screws that need to be removed. now gently lift up the bezel and pull it away from the radio you will have to unplug the flashers and the clock, there is also a plug under the bezel for the Cig lighter that you unplug.takes about 5 mins to remove.
