Icon6 97 Accord, front end shake at speed around 2k

While driving, using the pedal to keep speed, I get shake from the front at about 2k rpm. If I let off the gas, it goes away (even at 2k), and some times its bad, and others its not. Any ideas on what is causing it, or is this a common issue?

Where do you notice the shake? Is it in the steering wheel? Is it worse at certain ground speeds or is it clearly related to engine speed? In other words, does it happen around 2K regardless of what gear the transmission is in?

... some times its bad, and others its not.
Can you provide more detail on the pattern of behavior?

I agree with skyler - check motor mounts really good. They are either loose and they are going bad.

Its not a tune up issue, motor is in tip top working order, and transmission too.

Its at 2k 2.1k no mater speed (not in park or idle), only when I hold the pedal, if I let off it goes away.

it sounds like a bad engine mount.
it's time to replace them anyway on the 97 acc, even though you think it's still good conditionl.

Does this happen only once the engine is at op temp (closed loop)?

Also, under heavy acceleration does this go away?

Instead of letting off the gas, what happens if you give it more (higher rpms)?

Is it a shake or is the engine stumbling? If its only around 2K rpm while cruising I would suspect the EGR system needs some attention.
