So I picked up a b17 ys1 (Supposedly)...Im pretty sure its it too, I didnt open it up, but I put it in 3rd gear and counted how many rotations the shaft made..but anyways...I noticed this looks like it has an electronic speed sensor on it...but my last DA had the speed sensor which was powered by the power steering system..Is this right? Maybe Electronic Speed Sensor was a GSR option? Haha idk, anyone? Ill put up pics of the trans tomorrow but just seeing if anyone knows.

 

what i think who had it was on a 94 and up i seen some using a hydro to cable conversion done to it why i dont know. just switch over your old one from your car the VSS which is a cable from the cluster. Wonder why it had it on. Hope this help out a bit i think lol.
