has anyone ever did this swap, b20b to a b20z? what do i need to change out? the ecu? dizzy? i know there is a knock sensor on the b20z do i need to hook that up? are there any troubles i will run into? its just an automatic and im just wanting my crv to drive my family around in but would like the extra power of the b20z ... ive serched and serched good and other forums and have not found the info im looking for... can somone help me please?

 

You haven't searched very well. This is covered several times a week. It's drop in. Don't worry about anything else.

 

The only thing you'll have to worry about is the intake boot size. The B20B throttle body is smaller in diameter vs the B20Z. I just swapped my B20Z into my younger brother's 97 CRV and had to use my stock rubber intake cause his didn't fit around the throttle body.

 

hmmm i'm getting a 99-00 B20B from japan. car currently has a 98 B20B4. You're saying these TB's are different? I was going to swap the old TB over since it'll have the TPS Sensor on it. Will that cause any complications?
