Problem i have both cars,i put the d16z6 engine in d15b1 car,both 94-95 civic coup.i put harness from z6 in b1 car.because b1 car dont have vtec plugs.i have z6 ecu.what wiring do i have to do to make it run the vtec.im stuck and its my first time doing this.please help.

 

I thought VTEC was wired all the way to the shock towers on these? Did you swap ECUs?

 

No,it my first time.i have the ecu.if i put that in.does the tower plug go straight to the ecu.if so i can pull it n put it in the othe car,if not do i have to pull pins

 

It dont have the vtec cell pin or vtec pressure pin

I did it,my car runs i pulled the two wires going to vtec,swap them over to the d15 harness,switch ecu.it runs,has no check engine lights runs smooth,thanks everyone for ur help.
