I have a 95 coupe swapped with a LS. Last week a map sensor came loose so I zip tied all of them and then took my valve cover off to see if everything was in order. I found three loose cam ring bolts loose (or whatever the ring like cam holders are called) so I tightened 2/3 because one is stripped, then I put the valve cover back on and drove. It had already been backfiring abnormally (mostly on deceleration and at higher rpms) and when at low rpms it will make putting noises sometimes. Recently it has started stuttering on acceleration and I think it might be burning oil within the last couple days. I think it has something to do with the head because I burn out and push it way too hard for having an LS head. I'm going to put a b16 head on it in a couple of weeks, but don't like my car not running right :/
