NEED HELP GUYS!! 89 EF si ignition problem
So I picked up my first ef about a month ago. For the first few weeks the car ran very strong and seemed quite reliable. So I got a little ballsy with it one night and opened the throttle up and it just cut off. A few days later I tried again and again it cut off while driving. Then intermediately it wouldn't start at all. The starter would turn over but no ignition. This would happen especially worse when it was very cold outside. For about a week it wouldn't start but would turnover. So a few days later it warmed up outside and it started and I drove it around for a bit. A few days ago I was driving and go to park in front of my place(thank god i got there) and before i had a chance to cut it off bam.. it cuts off on its own and it hasn't started since. So I did some research and all signs pointed at the main relay. I got a new one, heard the clicks so I know it's good, I go to start and again the starter turned over but no ignition. I'm pretty bummed at this point. Could it be the clutch switch?? And here's my big question, if it is the clutch switch would the starter still turnover?? Sorry about the novel lol just wanna be as descriptive as possible.

Similar thing happened to me...it was the ignition coil. Running rough and wouldn't start when it was cold outside. Tested ok with a multimeter, even made a weak spark. But it was bad. I replaced a bunch of parts before I figured it out. Advance auto sells a nice one.
The clutch switch won't let the starter work, so that's probably fine.
