did this when i had to replace a front wheel bearing... spent 2 hours hitting it with an asortment of hammers... used a craftman 3/8 drive ratchet and to popped out first time

Looks cool but if you accidentily got your finger close say bye bye... I tried a wrench n no luck so just rented a ball join tool. Still gotta return it lol

I usually just wack the area that the ball joint sits into with a huge hammer.

I followed a similar video using this technique when pulling my motor. I was tired of hitting it with a hammer and this was very easy.
