Default eg suspension setup: opinions

I have had this car for a while (since july) and have had the majority of the parts since then, but it seems I just don't have enough time to mess around with this car. Any how, I finally got around to getting the suspension stuff put on.

Setup consist of:
ITR Neuspeed Sport springs
ITR stock shocks
ITR Front & Rear LCA
ITR Front & Rear Sway Bars
GSR Braks Front & Rear
15" with shitty tires (loaners)
New wheels & 195/50/15 on the way
rotors and pads on the way

The car's handling and braking is fairly nice right now...at least compared to what it was! The ride is smooth and not bouncy and the clearence is very driveable. I am still debating the front ITR sway bar in exchange for something smaller as the car tends to push slightly. I may be able to fix that by getting better tires and experimenting with differnt air pressures. I am also still waiting for the correct Booster/MS/Prop Valve/ for the brakes.

what made you decide on that set-up?? Seems like a decent set-up for the street.

I went with GC's/Konis with 350f/400r spring rates and i love it. Where i live the roads arent bad at all so ride quality is good. And it isnt slammed so i have no issues on inclines or speed bumps.

I think you should notice a good difference with a new set of tires. I had to throw on my stock 13" steels with **** 175 tires to get my allignment, and the difference between them and my azenis was really noticable(i know its kind of an extreme example).

your setup sounds great, but you may want to look into konis and gc's for better (stiffer) springrates to provide more grip and less roll. I think your setup is superb and can only be improved upon by adding better shocks and stiffer springs. nice work man

why not get 205/50's? it is a wider tire. speedo is off a bit but oh well. ive heard this size is far superior to the stock size. i will be trying it as soon as my stock ones wear out. anyone else have thoughts on this?

hey man
i have had hard time putting that rear LCA
i got it from Hong Kong from EG Civic there

it's so damn hard to put it on... and i konw it's not a tight fit.. i just pushed the screws in....

it's probably because my EX is using drums at the back.. not disc !!!

nice setup

good luck

i want to avoid any type of rubbing during hard conering. Also, 195 tires were just a tad over $200 with free shipping.
