So I found an 89 si crx with a dohc zc (don't know which one) full interior,primered and everything for 600$ guy said the engine ran dry of oil. Can I get some opinions on this? Thanks

 

well depending on how clean the car is it may be worth getting despite possibly having to put a different engine in it. the best thing to do is before you buy it make him fill it with oil and see if she knocks or makes any other noises, and ask lost of questions, why did it run out of oil, and how long was it driven, see if it burning it or leaking oil. also whenever your looking at a swapped car always check the quality of the wiring, if its all hacked up talk him way down or walk away...
