Default AP1 Vtec issue after AEM Tune

Just switched to E85 on a GReddy Turbo setup tuned on an AEM EMS 1052. It will not engage Vtec at all, I've changed Vtec Solenoids, Pressure switch, checked voltage to sensors and EMS unit, as well as oil pressure. Nothing makes it work. When its turned on in the AEM its engaging erratically jumping on and off, hence the reasoning behind disengaging it. The only thing under the hood not connected is the external line from the vacuum advance to the intake and I don't believe this would be an issue for the VTec issue. Anyone had any similar issues? I'm thinking about going back to an NA setup because I'm so frustrated.
